QUP Karaoke is offered as is, no warranties explicit or implied. The software is written to the best of our abilities to be stable, but there are sometimes unknowns that can cause issues. Every good KJ knows to always operate with a fallback plan.
The previous version of QUP was tested at 7 Bamboo Lounge in San Jose CA for 8 years with not a single crash.
Your purchase entitles you to 2 major versions of updates which means if the current version is 2.0.14, you can expect your registration code to be good until version 4.9.99. What does this mean in terms of time? Maybe 2-3 years depending on what features of bugfixes are added to the software, and the time and complexity taken to add them.
QUP is shareware, and we believe in shareware. We don't believe crippling software is good for the user experience or the software industry in general. We don't believe in draconian feature lockout or self destruct timers. We give you 60 days to evaluate the software for your needs, and if you find it meets them we ask you to purchase it. Our cost is very reasonable ($60), especially when compared to other software.
Also our software does not phone home to "tattle" on you. Your business is your business. You can choose to send telemetry data, you can choose not to.
