QUP Karaoke is offered as is, no warranties explicit or implied. The software is written to the best of our abilities to be stable, but there are sometimes unknowns that can cause issues. Every good KJ knows to always operate with a fallback plan.
The previous version of QUP was tested at 7 Bamboo Lounge in San Jose CA for 8 years with not a single crash.
A license is $10. You pay it once. That is the whole story. Your registration code is good for every version of QUP we ever release — this one, the next one, and the one after that. There are no upgrade fees, no subscriptions, and no renewals. If you bought QUP under the old $60 two-major-versions terms, your existing key is now a lifetime key too, at no cost and with nothing for you to do.
QUP is shareware, and we believe in shareware. We don't believe crippling software is good for the user experience or the software industry in general. We don't believe in draconian feature lockout or self destruct timers. We give you 60 days to evaluate the software for your needs, and if you find it meets them we ask you to purchase it. At $10 for life, we think that's an easy call.
Also our software does not phone home to "tattle" on you. Your business is your business. You can choose to send telemetry data, you can choose not to.
Your license key is emailed to you automatically the moment your payment goes through. Open QUP, click the (i) About button, go to the Purchase tab, and choose "Import license key...".
