QUP Karaoke Engine v2.16.0 is out.
Two new plugins for CD+G karaoke, both in the Plugin Browser.
CD+G Disc Ripper. Put a karaoke disc in the drive and it comes out as one MP3+G zip per song, graphics included, named the way your library already is and added to the library as it goes. It names the disc for you where it can, rips from several drives at once, and benchmarks your drive to find its fastest steady speed. Not every drive can read CD+G graphics; Read disc checks yours first.
CDG Repair. When a song won't play or its lyrics come up garbled, right-click it in the Media Library or the Playlist and choose Diagnose / Repair. Rip errors are corrected from the checksum every graphics packet carries; a zip that decayed on disk is repaired from an intact copy of the same song. Every repair keeps the original and can be undone from History. There is also a whole-library scan and a manual editor.
Also: Note Bad File / Unmark Bad File in the Playlist's right-click menu; the Media Library's Note Bad File no longer marks the wrong song after columns are rearranged; and a briefly locked song is no longer permanently marked bad.
