QUP Karaoke Engine v2.13.0 is out.
A Plugin Browser. Media Library > Plugins > General > Plugin Browser lists every plugin with what it does, how big it is, and whether you have it. Tick what you want, press Apply, restart QUP.
Installing a plugin installs everything it needs. Karaoke Maker, YouTube and Music Video Backgrounds no longer need a trip to their settings to press Setup Tools first -- the download tools, video engine and vocal-separation software come down with the plugin. If a working copy is already on your machine, QUP checks it and uses it instead of downloading another. The old button is still there as Repair Tools.
Eight plugins are now free downloads instead of part of the installer: AutoFiller, File Management, Genre Tagger, Karaoke Maker, MIDI Karaoke, Music Video Backgrounds, SongShop and YouTube. If you use any of them, nothing is lost -- the first time you start 2.13.0 QUP tells you which ones you had and puts them in the browser's cart. Press Apply, restart, and they are back with your settings untouched.
QUP tells you when your graphics card is going unused by Karaoke Maker, and what to install to fix it, instead of quietly taking several times longer.
Karaoke Maker's video tools no longer change under you overnight. Every download is pinned to a version we chose.
Patrons can buy a song for the bar at the kiosk. With SongShop installed and your card saved in it, turn on Config > Misc > Song Purchases. A patron who can't find a song at the QUP kiosk can buy it for the venue: your card pays the store, the song lands in your library and in their queue, and the price comes off their credits -- only once the song has actually arrived.
Also: the right-hand EQ slider's labels are no longer cut off, and the Linux portable ZIP now says, correctly, that it needs a full JDK.
