This week;
- A lot of work was dedicated to LAN queuing. Started on Thursday last week, I think the plugin is finally up on plugin browser. Needs testing though.
-Intrumentation of widgets. This is at least half the bulk this week, and it takes some explaining. Basically our 4 modes have their widgets coded in them. So if another layout wants to use a widget (let's say, a waveform scroll) then that widget has to be re-coded into that layout. Instrumentation is a file that has the widgets in a pallet, that each layout mode can select from and place. It's a short term sprint for a long run re-usability in the code. It also will allow skins to define layouts.
-Overall security enhancements. Singer pin codes were stored as plain text. Now they're hashed.
-Secret encryption project. Working with a karaoke company on an encryption mechanism so they can offer karaoke in a way that works with almost any software, as a streaming service. If instrumentation was 40% of this weeks work, enhancements 10%, this is easily another 40%.
Unfortunately other things had to take a backseat this week.
