As a footnote, I have since found out that the MP3 TAG is important also to the program.
When you change the FILENAME the mp3 TAG TITLE is unchanged.
So be sure to use a favorite tool (I use https://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html ) to edit the mp3 TAG TITLE also!!!! The program appears to use ...

When performing some actions, the action may take some time to take place behind the scenes.
Deleting 3514 songs from the MEDIA LIBRARY takes some time. I didnt time it, but lets say 45 seconds.

OK, the FIRST post was duplicates created by having .ogg AND .mp3 files in the same source folder. Solved: Delete .ogg files from source folder, reload and rescan.

OK, stretching and dragging widows around covered the icons. Workaround for the taskbar solved that concern.
So not really a bug.... And I will undoubtedly re-arrange things as I get used to actually USING the program. Still in the 'FAFO' mode setting up media library and ...

Desktop is black. When I start the program, note how the desktop icons are still visible.

The replacement for the program you suggested is GREAT!!
But you are on your own to learn how to use it. Help file is *worthless* (just an 'about file) but that might be 'trial version' limited? Anyway, DONT depend on it for help. :lol:
